So, I left Chicago Friday afternoon to meet Cam in New Orleans for Caleb and Adriane's wedding. Neither of us had been there, so we were excited! The city was amazing, the night life was
crazy and the wedding was beautiful!

Now isn't this cute, this was during the second line parade, which I read about to figure out what was going on...
Second line parades are the descendants of the city’s famous jazz funerals, and there are dozens of second line parades throughout the year, usually on Sunday afternoons in neighborhoods around the city. Heralded by the blaring of the approaching trumpet and the thump of a tuba, second line parades are always led by a brass band. The term “second line” comes from the folks who fall in behind the band & the hosting organization and join in the rolling excitement, dancing and singing as they go, waving handkerchiefs in the air and bobbing umbrellas up and down.
Neat, huh?!
Congrats Bauers, we had a great time!
