meat paradise

are you all familiar with how a brazilian steakhouse works? you have a little piece of cardboard that is green on one side and red on the other and when you have the green side up you are surrounded by waiters ready to slice off HUGE portions of different meats on skewers...quite the experience. 

 

cam's parents took all of the children (we're children still, right?) out to estancia churrascaria last weekend. we consumed enough meat for the entire month and had a great time.

emilee + fagner

 

cam's step-sister emilee is getting married in january and we had yet to meet her beau, fagner (who is from brazil) so we ventured down to yorktown last weekend to have a little engagement party for them, texas style! 

fagner is too sweet and his sister and brother in law (who made the trek from mississippi) couldn't be nicer...emilee is lucky to be marrying into an amazing family! she and fagner will be living in brazil for a few years and we just might have to make a visit ;)

we loaded up the paxster and headed to lake lbj this weekend. our good friends the bullock's graciously welcomed us at their place and we had a great time!
