thanks to cam's super-selling skills, we were treated to a lovely week in hawaii in october! we had a great time (and missed our paxy tons)...here are some pics!

this was our summit adventure! we took a bus to the top of the crater (10,000 feet up and FREEZING COLD) and after a 3,000 foot drop over 10 miles, we
began a 23 mile bike ride around 29
switch backs down Haleakala...a tad intense for crys, super fun for cam...

side note - In the late 1980s, pineapple’s “crown” began to wither, and the industry
no longer turned a profit. Only about 100 acres of
pineapple for local consumption remain on the island.
